David Gabelaya, Head of Judicial and Insurance Practice, took part in the 11th annual forum Future of the Insurance Market. The conference was held on November 15 by the International Rating Agency RAEX.

Participants of the conference discussed various types of risks for strategic development of domestic insurance and the types of insurance Russia needs. They have also discussed insurance products sales channels, namely, how electronic insurance certificates can improve sales and reduce expenses, the potential of non-credit insurance via the banks and the future of insurance agents and advisers, etc.

The final session was dedicated to the insurance sector regulation. Participants of the conference discussed the requirements applied to the assets of the insurance organization within risk based approach to regulation, and the requirements to insurance companies’ information and statements disclosure and corporate governance system enhancement.
