Galina Pavlova, Managing Partner at Pavlova & Partners, took part in the panel discussion "Information and Communication Interaction in the Book Industry" organized by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Media and Non-Commercial Partnership "Guild of Book-Makers" on September 7, 2017.

Participants of the discussion discussed the issue of development and implementation of the Concept on the Standardization of the Information, Educational and Legal Framework in the book industry.

At the moment, the industry has a number of problems: lack of terminological methodology and tools to regulate the relationship between authors and consumers, lack of guarantor in preserving paper book and electronic content for building a common information space of Russia and EEU countries, as well as lack of accessible information and goods platform with copyright registration and insurance.

These and other issues were discussed by leading industry experts, including B.S. Yesenkin, President of the Guild of Book-Makers, heads of CIS Book Chambers and other interested parties.
